Decoding Cat Body Language
Understanding your cat's body language can provide you with deeper insights into their feelings and intentions. From ear positions to tail movements, cats communicate a lot through their bodies.
A relaxed cat will often have a neutral tail, with ears pointed forward. They may also blink slowly, indicating a level of trust and comfort. A scared or agitated cat, however, might have ears that are pinned back, and their tail may be puffed up.
Another important way cats can communicate is by stretching, usually with their claws extended out. This movement shows that they’re waking up, relaxed or that they need to scratch something!
